POLYETHERKETONE (PEEK)
Polyeterketone (PEEK) is a thermoplastic semicrystalline polymer with excellent physical and chemical resistance properties, even at high temperatures. Due to the great resistance to wear and abrasion one of its peculiar applications is the manufacturing of mechanical elements like bearings, pumps elements, valves and insulated cables. It is also a biocompatible polymer and can be used for bio-medical applications. Other applications are in aerospace automotive and chemical plants.
