POLYETHERSULFONE (PES)
PES act a lot like PC, but they're a lot more heat resistant. PESs also can stand up well to water and steam, so they're used to make things like cookware and medical products that need to be sterilized between uses. PES is characterized by high rigidity, mechanical resistance, transparency up to 150°C and thermal stability: the dimensional variation of a sample washed with steam or boiling water is less than 0.1%. Its applications range from medical field to automotive and electronics.
