Additives and binders based on nanotechnology. The reactive system is based on a nanoparticulate produced with a sol-gel process and preservable during time due to special precipitation-emulsion processes. There are several systems available as water-soluble products or alcol-soluble products with a solid content above 90%. The main application is actually automotive but these products can be used within classic paints as additives in order to improve scratch and corrosion resistance. Actually several products are available with different chemical properties due to different functional groups characterizing the molecular structure that is made of both inorganic (siloxanes) and organic units.
