POLYACRYLATE-ALUMINA COMPOSITES

It is a material obtained mixing an acrylic resin (PMMA) with an inorganic filler as aluminium trihydrate. It is available as sheets and can be processed using the standard machineries for wood. It can also be thermoformed. It does not loss its properties during time and it has a remarkable impact resistance and abrasion, UV stability and chemical resistance as well. Colors and patterns are homogeneous along all the thickness. It is an inert material, non toxic, often used for building applications that need ease of projecting, high aesthetic properties, usefulness and stability during time.
