The Inter-University Research Center for Technology, Work and Culture (IFZ) is the Graz unit of the Faculty for Interdisciplinary Studies (IFF) of the Klagenfurt University. Within the faculty it belongs to the Department of Research on Science and Technology.

The IFZ was established in 1988 and is an interdisciplinary research institute dealing with issues of socially and environmentally sound technology design and innovation. The institute works on an interdisciplinary basis, initiates social and institutional learning processes, and involves stakeholders in the research process.
